Carl Thompson, Nine Mile Falls, Washington, took the honors
on the final day of the tournament, catching the only Blue Marlin
of the event.
Carl also caught a Striped Marlin.

His good fortune resulted in a TOP TEAM win for Carl,
and his partner, John Kaeser, Seabeck, Washington.

****TOP ROOKIE*****

Robert Monahan, San Diego, CA on Day 1 caught a 37 lb Red Snapper for not only TOP ROOKIE honors, but also Top Non-Bill money and the trophy. *****2ND PLACE NON-BILL*****

Al Ardale, Escondido, CA with a 25 lb Tuna won the money on Day 2 and qualified as 2nd Place Non-Bill winner.

Several anglers brought clothes for donations to the families that were still trying to recover from Hurricane John.

A special THANK YOU to Steve Spies (left) and Roland Martines (right), who donated their
3rd Place Team winnings to Mario, the morning dining room supervisor,
who lost the roof off his house in La Riberia last month as a result of Hurricane John.

Mike Totey, shown here with Tracey Totey (left), and Karin Abbott-Hall, (right), acted as Master of Ceremonies.
