2006 has to go down as our year of wind and storms! We were almost blown off the water for the Rancho Leonero event in May, (In which no one could ever remember NORTH winds in May!). Then, in our last event of this year, Hurricane Paul came along- the latest hurricane to form in recorded weather keeping!

47 Anglers and guests attended this final trip of the year, and for most it was their first experience or exposure to a tropical hurricane, which thankfully had been downgraded to a Tropical Depression by the time it passed to the south of us on the final day of fishing.
Fishing in the rain was the order of the day for Day #2, and as the tail of the storm passed us, the wind was the major event, and unloading the boats, or getting off the dock was the challenge of the last day.
