The first tournament of 2008 was met with calm seas, and, as usual, beautiful sunrises!
 The event could be summed up in three words:
DORADO! DORADO!! DORADO!!!
These beauties were just 2 of the 39 taken over the three day event.
17 of the total were over 30 pounds, and 3 were over 50 pounds! |

Top Team honors went to Frank Dishman, Lakeport, CA,
on the left, Richard Adams, Mariposa, CA,
and Holly Hoppe and Ken Hoppe, from Novato, CA.They are flanked by presenters Karin Abbott-Hall, Vancouver, WA,left,
and Tracey Totey, Albany, OR on the right.
The TOP TEAM took a total of 2 Sailfish
and 10 Dorado. They are shown here with 3 of their Dorado
taken on Day 2. |
