The Hemingway Scholarship Program is now 5 years old. It was set up in honor of Ernest Hemingway by the Look Alike Society in 1999. Three categories now are included in the scholarship: English, Creative Writing, and Nursing.
The scholarship program has grown from one scholarship in 1999 to 10 awards of $1000.00 each in 2004.
