As you can see, the fishing wasn't all that great, but we came here for other reasons! From a field of about 150, the contest was narrowed down to 24 finalists, and on Saturday night they announced the winner for 2006: Chris Storm from Amarillo, Texas. (That's him on the right!) This year, instead of riding the bull, Jerry got smart and just pushed!(In case you don't recognize him, that's him with the cigar!)

The competition was revised in 2005, and is now open to ALL big game fishermen worldwide. All of the guidelines and entry forms are available now. Competition begins January 1, 2007. All entries are good for the entire calendar year, and a new competition will start every New Year.

We also accept any and all donations to the fund. Scholarships are presented to college students who are aspiring writers, or who are entering the Nursing profession.
