Mary Hatfield, Evergreen, CO* Mary caught 5 Marlin on her very first Blue water experience. She also caught one more on the off day for a total of 6 Marlin. Of the 6 rookies who entered the event, only one failed to catch their first bill fish. That was Nancy Booer, who claimed she was excited about returning next year and continuing her rookie status. She requested she be known as the "Virgin of the Sea"!

*Due to a bookkeeping error, 4th place angler and Top rookie honors were shared with John Hartz, of Wellington, NC. Trophies and ribbons have been mailed to him. (Sorry for the error, John!)

Also, sorry if we missed you this year. Be sure and plan for next year! Entry forms will be out by Thanksgiving. The Top Team- Tony and Tom- are taking no chances. They already deposited next year on site, and are Team #1 for that event.
