 Playa del Sol - May 18-22, 2006
| The drive down to the hotels was once again spectacular, as shown here by the sun rise pictures taken approximately 20 miles south of Loreto:

| The "Cactus in the Tree" has also grown since last year (I photograph it every year) and I found another beauty at Catavina.
But it wasn't all about photography! We had some great fishing, too, as evidenced here: FISH COUNT: 31 Anglers - 34 Cruisers 76 Marlin - 3 Sailfish - 21 Dorado -
5 Tuna TOTAL: 105 FISH (On this trip we averaged over 2 marlin per angler!) |

Rusty Sims, San Diego, California, (shown here with Captain Juan), fished with his sister Cindy, from College Station, Texas. They did not participate in the tournament, but instead fished a super panga for four days. They took 100 pargo, 13 Cabrilla, 2 Rooster Fish, and several other small game fish.
On Wednesday, Rusty packed out over 60 lbs. of these tasty fillets, which were processed by the Smoke House.
As always, the Smoke House supplied big trays of smoked fish for the group's opening and closing ceremonies.
