Dan Martindale, from Cottage Grove, Oregon, took TOP NON BILL HONORS,
and the $200 cash prize.
Cynthia Johnson, an 18 year old rookie angler from Springfield, Oregon, took TOP ANGLER honors with 3 Sailfish and 1 Tuna in her very first blue water experience. She was tied with Dan Martindale, and had to cut the cards.
Last but not least, non-fishing guest Sharlene Berg from Talkeetna, Alaska was awarded the "Shop Till You Drop" Award, presented to her by her good friend, Cindy.
She also enjoyed a little sun, claiming to have fallen asleep on their patio which faces west for the beautiful sunsets.
As we returned, we were greeted by our winter rains and cool temps here in the Portland, OR area. Our Alaskan guests returned to several feet of snow. Thankfully, there is this magnificent place for a part of the winter, anyway! Everyone is looking forward to 2007 when the dates have been set for March 2-9.
